The first boy is an absolute beast with that phalanx of thick scales on its wings, doubt it could fly though. Because people and livestock look like ants this beast it probably squishes anything without even noticing, but its a docile creature nonetheless.
I could say more about the rest of these awesomely designed dragosaurs but that one stood out the most to me. Great work :)
Thank you! Yes, the brontosaurus dragon is covered in scales made entirely of super strong metal, and they can drape their metal wings over themselves like a dome and form an even tougher metal shell for themselves.
In the tabletop RPG that they're featured in, they're virtually indestructible, but luckily they're peaceful and non-aggressive. They're like whale sharks in the sense that they don't mind people and they even don't care if you go up and touch them so long as you are not hostile. Just be careful not to get stepped on!
If this was ever part of a trading card game like Magic then you got some legendary artwork.
So I got a question: Who is who? Is Sivra the kobold/rider and Azuryt is his animal companion?
Oh and what kind of animal is Azuryt?
Heh thanks. It would be nice to do some work for Magic. I never did though. Sivra is the animal (Nyfrit) And Azuryt is an easkull. All mine. Azuryt was my first oc I created like back in 2001. : )
Love the folliage you put on the bases its so alien! Theres some great detail here, the metal and paint job looks weathered and everything looks great from a distance, but the glowing effects could use a little work. Up close they look more like the boils on a Nurgling, all you need to do is smooth out the highlights a bit more to give it more of that energy-filled aura.
Its awesome to see more hobbyists on Newgrounds keep up the great work :)
Thanks, and yeah I see what you mean for the glowing effects, it can be a pain making things smooth.
Gorgeous! You can't go wrong with pastel colors
I know, right?? They all just /work/. Thanks for the nice words!
Rad!
